Guest Chris Lucas Trust Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Hi All,I am hoping you can do the walk with your family for Childhood Cancer Month December.JINGLE BELL WALK supporting Childhood Cancer Month Last year 400 took part fingers crossed for more this year.The Lord Mayor of Newcastle always starts the event after the tree has been lit at Civic Centre.We parade through Newcastle with marching band singing Jingle Bells walking to Quayside to meet Santa in his grotto with hot chocolate and cookies for everyone and gifts for all the children.This is the third time we've done this:Full detaiols www.chrislucastrust.com click events.With approximately 1,400 children diagnosed with cancer in the UK each year Chris Lucas Trust is seeking your support to help beat one of the most horrific children's cancers, Rhabdomyosarcoma.Chris Lucas Trust is one of the country's supporters of research into children's cancer and is supporting Children's Cancer Month DECEMBER this year. The disease is one of the most aggressive cancers in children aged between one and 20 years..Great advances are being made by doctors and scientists in tackling children's cancers.Funds raised are partly through public donations, so please donate generously.Please support Children's Cancer Month this year.
