Just noticed tonight..everytime i go to read a post i`m asked to sign in again, even though i`ve already signed in!

Probably this computer, but any ideas as to why this is happening?

Could be several things. First clear your cookie cache.

Which browser are you using? For instructions on MSIE 7 see How Do I Get The Bedlington.co.uk Icon To Show In My Browser? and at steps 4/5 substitute the [Delete cookies..] button.

Make sure you've reopened your browser from cold.

Go to: http://www.bedlington.co.uk/community/index.php?act=Login

Make sure the Remember me? [] checkbox is ticked before you hit the [Log me in] button.

If this doesn't work I will show you how to force a Windows form password save.

It might be safer to use the "WORKAROUND" method! :)

Recycle bin in xp:

right click a blank space on the desktop

choose [properties]

make sure [general] tab is selected

select recycle bin icon

select [restore default]

If this does not work, let me know, i have another way...

That doesn't work with my configuration of XP Pro. Indeed it doesn't work on any XP machine we have here right now. Right clicking always brings up Display Properties. XP Home Edition maybe?

P.S. Why not run this forum? Someone else might just come along who wants to promote *their* repair business! :D

Forgot to say, i had to click a slightly different button to get my bin back, although you were half right

1. Right-click a blank space on the desktop

2. Select Properties

3. Click the Desktop tab

4. Click the Customize button

5. Click Restore Default

6. Exit all windows and restart your computer
