I heard planning was in and had been passed to build care home for the elderly?.

Wish they would start the work, it would be an improvement to what it looks like now, the same goes for the old church school that's an eyesore too.

Wasn't there plans for an apartment block of some kind ?

I think that permission for the building at the school was denied.
