threegee Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 http://www.bbc.co.uk...nology-15383516http://youtu.be/-EI75wPL0nUEven the best present-day cameras sure have a long way to go!
Brett Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) http://www.lytro.com...ng-pictures/282I was having a play with this a few months back, basically click to select the focal point.I also found another neat little project which could do with more work but I'm sure google maps would have been more economical mapping the world with a ball. Yes, it isn't the first ball camera we've seen, nor is it the first camera to hawk 360-degree panoramas. But, the Throwable Panoramic Ball Camera marries these two concepts together, and packs them into a sturdy-looking sphere made mostly of foam. This shields the 36 fixed-focus phone camera modules, each capable of taking two megapixel snapshots.Source - Engadget Edited October 23, 2011 by Brettly
