    Hi, just joined the forum, i have lived in Bedlington for nearly 12 years, have own business, originally from Seaton Delaval. All my kids went to the schools, my youngest is still in St Benet Biscops final year. Hope to add some interesting comments and posts. Thanks Brian

    Is there any truth in the rumour that the Red Lion Pub in Bedlington is to become a furniture shop? Although I would wish any business success I feel that a pub that has been there for such a long time should always be a pub, I am sure a decent Weatherspoons would be nice.
