A Northumberland man has been charged with rape.
Munawar Hussain, who is 40 and from Ashington has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration.
The charges are in relation to an incident that happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning in the North Seaton area.
He will appear at Bedlington Magistrates Court court on June 23.
