  1. I`ve already got an official lead ..somewhere. If i can`t find it i`ll get the alternative.

Do you play Guitar Hero by any chance? :D

I just can't get past medium on GH. My little finger cramps up :(

anyway, why don't we have a game that we can all have access to?

something simple like bejewelled, tetris, bookworm, or something along those lines? easily screenshotted.

Ever wondered why noone seems to celebrate St George's day but come March everyone is donning green attire , wearing stupid hats and drinking enough to give an elephant liver failure?

Yeah so have we. Things need to change.

So 2009 is the time to celebrate your 'Englishness' in style, (on the day of our patron saint) by dressing up like a fool, getting drunk and listening to some live music.

    Sound fun?

    The 3 bands playing:

    -------------------------

    - False Miracles : Playing their first gig back after 2 years away, you'll have to make your own mind up on how the 'Miracles' have improved/developed. Metal stylings and dragon-style roars combine with melodic vocals to create a unique take on an often-stale genre.

    - Jake Bullit : Your friendly-neighbourhood Punk Band returns with yet another instalment of adrenaline fuelled, ear piercingly heavy, grunge/alt based punk rock that would make even the Mighty Dragon Slayer himself cower in his boots...

**** Stolen Tom will no longer be playing, but will be replaced by a superb Rage Against The Machine Tribute band, well known as Renegades!! www.renegadesband.co.uk www.myspace.com/renegadessalute ****

    Fancy Dress

    ---------------

    Must be England Themed

    Ideas for costumes :

    - St George / The Dragon

    - Winston Churchill

    - Sherlock Holmes

    - Famous English Sports Personalitys

    - A London Bus

    ... basically anyone/anything decidedly English.

Random Prizes for innovation or just sheer hilarity.

    Live DJ

    --------

Mr Mick Keen will be providing us with some of the finest in alt/rock/punk/metal/indie music for your enjoyment.

Food (not just tea and scones)

    ------

And its all for a very good local cause at Wansbeck Hospital.

What more could you ask for?

So don that red and white (and we don't just mean a Sunderland Shirt) and get yourself along.

    UPSTAIRS at the community centre.

    £3 on the door

  3. I only wanted to join as I heard Phillip Schofield is doing it! I have, it seems, only made friends with the telescope at Joderall Bank! Shwicked!

Twitter is just where "celebrities" and friends update what they're doing so you can keep up with them. Basically just like Facebook's statuses. For nosey people and stalkers :P

  4. Well it`ll have to be a long cable..plus another disadvantage is having to turn the comp on everytime i want to go on xbox live..

i didn't know you had to have the comp on to go on xbox live?? can you not get a cable, then just a double socket thing* for the telephone box thing* so its directly connected?

*can you tell i know what i'm talking about? B)

  5. I've lost count of the amount of nights' sleep I've lost worrying about the pool league, well done that man.

NB: basically, you're proposing a pub with more than one pool table? Cue-tastic.

well i think it's a good idea. but i agree with cympil, not getting my hopes up.

  6. Hey Guys, thanks for reading and kick starting this topic, i hadn't realised that there was a snooker club in Bedlington Station, will see if i can find out what it has to offer. Thanks for the snippet Blank, i see that its dated from Jan last year yet its still derelict and waiting for some potential to be injected back into it, does bedlington need a seventh care home? the place seems like its going to be brimming with care homes before long. lol

well being over a year old i doubt anything will come of it. there is a pool hall at the clayton, it has a snooker table, couple of pool tables, not sure about prices on the bar or if they do food. i'd well go to the pool hall down the front street. the one at the station is dark, dingy and old and really has no atmosphere what so ever, i wouldn't go back there. plus its really small.
