The last time I was in there was in 1966, the land lord was Tomy Tait and his wife. It was a good pub in them days, not sure what its like today

No did not get time for the castle Blank as we were heading off to Seahouses. Apparently the castle is the number one tourist attraction in Britton.

I did go there many years ago I think I was 12 or 13 last time I was in Alnwick castle, way back in the fifties.

Opposite the low numbers of vicarage terrace on front street east, between the Black Bull and the Northumberland Arms. Used to be Coopers Prize Bingo I'm told (before my time).
