I sad moment was announced early this morning (21st may) that Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees has Died after a long and hard battle with cancer. I would like to say that i am a fan of the Bee Gees and Robin Gibb's music and he will be sadly missed, Rest In Peace Robin Gibb.

There is still a bit of rail traffic goes though Bedlington station that i know of (have seen) the alcan trains which will continue for the next 18 months i hear but going up to fort william, coal trains going to the Port of Blyth to be loaded and some going to lynemouth power station and lets not forget the odd rail tour from time to time.

It is pathetic and it is pathetic that they say it is done because of the risk to the public, if they are so much of a risk why not put them down on the ground and deal with the problem then put them back up?
