Next July it will be 20 years since "The Class of 86" left Bedlington High School.
A number of us are in the process of organising a school reunion of all those former pupils who attended the school at that time. This reunion will take place on Saturday 1st July 2006.
The aim is to have a tour of the school in the afternoon, followed by drinks and nibbles in the sixth form centre. In the evening there will be an 80s disco. The venue has yet to be confirmed and we are still open to suggestions, so if you know of anywhere then let me know at the email address below.

Next July, it will be an amazing 20 years since the class of 86 left Bedlington High School. To celebrate this extraordinary feat, we are organising a reunion of all those former pupils who attended the school at that time. This reunion will be on Saturday July 1st 2006 ... venue to be confirmed.
The aim is to have a tour of the school in the afternoon, followed by drinks and nibbles in the sixth form centre. We will then meet in one of Bedlington's famous hostelries (the ones that are still open) for lots of drinking, dancing (80s indie rock and roll of course;-), chatting, drinking and reminiscing (did I say drinking?)

She used to live in Acorn avenue with her daughter Jane... I lived a few doors from her in Russell Terrace when I was a kid. Jane now appears as a reporter on Sky News.
