March 12, 201016 yr You'd have had a hard job to make it, as it was at the Black Bull. The buskers night at the Tavern used to be worth a visit and was well attended; gemma - who is running the one at the Bull - seemed to have a good crowd in last night although I couldn't stay. If you like a bit of live music they are generally a good laugh.

March 12, 201016 yr what exaclty is ment by buskers? can they not afford proper acts? are these the buskers you find in morpeth etc playing accordions? are they getting exploited as buskers dont get a fee as such! they play for hand outs from passing people i.e where the turm busker comes from!
