Letters Received:Blyth Valley Arts and Leisure would like to meet the Town Council to update them on successful activities held in their area during the summer. They would also like to discuss plans for the future. Sport England funding is ceasing at the end of the year.b. ReminderThe next NCC / Parish and Town Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 13 October Ashington Leisure Centre commencing 6 pm.c. New Consultationsd. Invitationsï‚· NALC have requested a nomination from the Council to serve on the NALC County Committee in the West Bedlington Ward. The closing date for nominations is 17 September 2010.ï‚· Invitation to attend a public presentation on 9 + 10 +11 of September regarding the proposed new Biomass plant at North Blyth7) WORKING GROUPSTo receive reports from working groups:a. The Council are requested to discuss the cost of Christmas festivities.Quotations are being sought and will hopefully be available for the meeting.b. If Christmas costs are approved the Council is requested to discuss the appointment of an organisation to manage Christmas festivities.10) CLERK'S REPORTa.
