Had a really nice meal in the White Swan at Choppington recently - menu choice superb and reasonably priced. I liked this place very much and would certainly recommend a visit.

TomTom are the original owners back in the Swan, I believe they left to take over The Cherry Tree (Stakeford). Heard a while ago, or maybe read it some where, that they had returned. Don't know if this is still the case. They had a good reputation when they first opened. I remember at the time nobody giving them a chance but they soon changed peoples opinions once word got round.

Thanks for the question Merlin - I believe the place is now run by the daughter of the original folk. Sorry I can't be more affirmative.
