Looks likely we will see Northumbrian Water go even further into foreign ownership with Cheung Kong Infrastructure's possible cash bid for the company.

For me it's another example of why the global economy doesn't work for localised benefit. They might even continue with their charitable donations and support but by and large the real profits will end up being passed around an Asian boardroom!

Looks like the deal has been done..........pass the chop sticks.
