April 25, 201214 yr Hi,I'm doing a bit of research with my elderly mother and trying to jog her memory a bit.Can anyone remember the land at the beginning of Stakeford Road ? Who owned this land? I know Allan Tait bought it and was later used as a scrapyard - what was here before? I remember The Thornton Brothers were over the road, but my mam is trying to tell me all about before this but not making much sense!I'm hoping someone out there can help me out so I can help my mam out a bit!
