Listened to and read all the comments - however, bottom line is still Bedlington is dead in the water, despite all the hanging baskets!

Respect, Pride, Appreciation whatever its called I would think starts in the home and school, but it also comes from todays media!

Councils and governments can look after buildings, roads and infrastructures but its family's, schools and youth centres that can instil pride to look after them!

I think it is a minority that causes the problems like vandalism and littering.

Not sure how you attract businesses to areas that don't appear to support them!
