ashington has at least 2 PCs open newbiggin 1 Bedlington town centre a BIG FAT ZERO come on NCC sort it out

Is the block behind tesco closed because tesco owned the land if so they should be reopened as soon sale goes ahead

Its not just an open toilet that we need but a safe hygienic place where the elderly as well as kids can use.

Bedlingtons many deficiencies have been discussed and rightly continue to be discussed on this forum but the lack of public toilet facilities remains an absolute disgrace. Opening up the two toilet blocks (Behind Tesco's and next to the Library) would be a start but it would be nice if they were fit for use and not just a glorified hole in the ground.

Is the council interested in public toilets - I think not, in fact just what are they interested in?

I like Melanie Hurst suggestions that town councillors could open and close the toilets on a daily basis.

Obviously only till something is sorted out .

Maybe the county councillors should take part to concentrate their minds on an action an for our town.

Morpeth the car park near the library, it is worth checking out their toilet block.

Just for an idea about what we could or should have here!
