Wee can mind the free paper cracker that used to come wi comics like Lion, Tiger and the Beano? Two pieces o' cardboard with a folded sheet of paper atween them ye could jerk wi ya hand te mek a loud crack.

I remember them, but they used to fall to bits when you used them a few times. There was something free nearly every week with them comics, or if there was nowt free, I would buy the one that had the free stuff that week.

remember them well and in fact herself ran a cub camp and got the cubs to make them -- they were very well received!!! oh the simple things in life!!
