threegee Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 If you own a modern lappy that only takes 7mm drives you've been unable to upgrade it to a 2TB HDD as the only drives with that capacity are the regular 9.5mm height. No more! Seagate has just managed to squeeze a whole terabyte onto a single platter, so that they can achieve 2TB in a 7mm housing. The model number is ST2000LM009. I've no idea about the price, but they are likely to be selling in stores at well below £100 in a few months.
