threegee Posted February 22, 2017 Report Posted February 22, 2017 Replace the unelected House of Lords with a publicly elected body The House of Lords is being abused by our elected officials by filling it with cronies. It costs our taxpayers around £100 million a year (probably much more) The House of Lords is the largest parliamentary chamber in any democracy. It is surpassed in size only by China’s National People’s Congress. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/170686/ 20,899 signatures (at time of posting) 2

threegee Posted February 26, 2017 Author Report Posted February 26, 2017 31,027 signatures Still a bit pathetic considering the outrage against the will of the people currently being perpetrated. But, there's three months to go, so it will likely get to the magic 100,000. Heseltine getting up to speak is probably worth another 10,000 signatures! 1

threegee Posted March 7, 2017 Author Report Posted March 7, 2017 Quote 11:14am Peers debate second referendum Lord Newby, the Lib Dem peer, is now proposing an amendment calling for a second referendum. It reads: No agreement with the European Union consequent on the use of the power under subsection (1) may be ratified unless it has been approved by a national referendum. He insists "we are not sidelining parliament" as he addresses peers. The peer says parliament should not make the final decision without a final vote from the public on the terms of the agreement. "Parliament should debate and vote on all the options at the end of the agreement", he says. It's the usual EU elitist tactic of keep on voting until we hear the answer we want to hear, and then stop for evermore - because you'll never be given a second chance to escape. If their senilityships REALLY cared about what the country wants they'd stop trying to dilute and emasculate what the public voted for. Dodgy Dave made it very clear (and spent over £9M of OUR money doing so) that a vote to leave meant leaving the so-called "Single European Market", so all the rest is pure waffle and obstructionism. I'm beginning to believe that abolition is too good for them! 2

Dodgy Dave made it very clear (and spent over £9M of OUR money doing so) that a vote to leave meant leaving the so-called "Single European Market", so all the rest is pure waffle and obstructionism. I'm beginning to believe that abolition is too good for them! Hitler believed that the human gene pool could be improved by using selective breeding similar to how farmers breed superior cattle strains. In the formulation of their racial policies, Hitler’s government relied heavily upon Darwinism, especially the elaborations by Spencer and Haeckel. As a result, a central policy of Hitler’s administration, The House of Lords, was the development and implementation of policies designed to protect the ‘superior race’. This required at the very least preventing the ‘inferior races’ from mixing with those judged superior, in order to reduce contamination of the latter’s gene pool. The ‘superior race’ belief is based on the theory of group inequality within each species, a major presumption and requirement of Darwin’s original ‘survival of the fittest’ theory. This House of Lords philosophy has culminated in the ‘final solution’, the extermination of approximately 17,410,742 Remain voters who belong to, what the old fogies have judged as ‘inferior races’. Expunging of the Judeo-Christian doctrine of the divine right of ‘Exit’ voters (nearly typed humans!) from the EU theology and its schools, and replacing it with ‘House of Lordsism’, openly contributes to the acceptance of Social Darwinism that culminated in the tragedy of the referendum. = YES they should be abolished. Or The 300 House of Lords members (less The Lord Speaker, the Chairman of Committees, and the Principal Deputy Chairman - paid from the House of Lords budget & Government ministers - paid by the relevant government departments) can now debate/obstruct for years to come, at £300, per day, attendance allowance thus ensuring a greater inheritance to their own offspring that will survive and, using whatever entrance fee is in place at the time, take their place in the House of Lords. When all the debating and amendments to all the relevant bills are completed, following the decision to trigger Article 50 in 23 1/2 days time (approx) are made it will then be left to the government of the day - The Official Monster Raving Loony Party .- to implement it's manefesto and Brexit :- The definitive Welsh Assembly Loony Party Manicfesto 2016 28th April 16 We will feed the Welsh dragon as its looking a bit thin due to government cuts We will try to find a breeding pair of dragons as the Welsh Dragon is an endangered species. We will Report the Welsh dragon to the monopolies commission (there is only One) In the Interests of national security we will ban all Leeks from the Welsh Assembly canteen To save money we will reduce the Welsh assembly from 60 seats to 5 and create the Welsh Ensemble . Man versus horse and Bog snorkling to be an Olympic sport. We will create massive factories in South Wales manufacturing Bird nests and noodles and then flood china with them… well they did it to our steel, We will Legalise Broccoli We will give the Letter K a sound We will have different Coloured Dragons on the Welsh Flag. Anyone over 5 years old who can hold a crayon will be eligible to vote. We will Introduce Mermaids to Tiger Bay to increase tourism. We will make Swansea Airport the Hub of the Welsh Space Program. We promise that should we be elected we will not initiate any of our policies. New Proposals In the light of proposals at the Labour Party Conference under its new leadership with Jeremy Corbyn we have come up with 2 new proposals for Defense : We will get rid of Trident and replace it with a new Tuning Fork. We shall keep the Falklands and Give Jeremy Corbyn to the Argentinians. Tuition fees Well once again the main parties are stealing our election proposals. Today Ed Moribund has declared that they would reduce University Tuition fees to much media acclaim. I didn’t notice the same amount of acclaim when we announced in our Manicfesto: E. Education. All University Tuition fees for women would be free as we are strong believers in Female intuition. (Due to gender equality laws we would include males as well) New proposals We propose to cancel stamp duty…….stamps are expensive enough so we shouldn’t have to pay duty on them. Besides leap years, there needs to be hop, skip, and jump years (thanks to Brassdancer) Parliament will be relocated to Wormwood Scrubs, reducing the commuting costs for most Peers and MPs. (thanks to WolfBaginski) Heritage refund We will reduce the national debt by selling the castles back to the French. (Buyer dismantles) Points make prizes Tax payers to receive Nectar Points from HMRC E.U Budget Adjustment and other news We can confirm that the Loony party was not notified of the E.U budget demand of £1.7bn before George Osborne or David Cameron. Also in the news the BBC in keeping with their policy of not important news coverage will be televising the incarceration of Oscar Pistorius 24 hours a day. Yes you can see the riveting instalments of Oscar sitting in a cell for 5 years. You can see Oscar walking around his cell and his special hour of Recreation. .Ping Pong exclusives …..Don’t miss the Slopping Out Special Highlights. Asda’s equality policy The Loony Party being strong advocates of equal pay agree that the women workers of Asda should have equal pay with the men. We have it on good authority that George Osborne also agrees with this, and to save needless court costs, has asked for the men’s wages to be reduced accordingly. Recycled Policies It is proposed that all, leaflets, brochures, circulars, manifestoes, posters etc, used by any Political Party during an election, be collected up recycled and given to the local Food Banks for free distribution as toilet paper. Unicorns and free travel We propose to make unicorns a protected species? It is proposed to introduce free travel on trams and buses for musicians as they bring joy into people’s lives…. Obviously OR ..................................... we could go on and on and on for ever. I rest my case and I will not respond to any other theory. 118,930 signatures
threegee Posted March 8, 2017 Author Report Posted March 8, 2017 Right conclusion Eggy, but I'm a little confused as to how you got there! We took an archaic system (hereditary peers who gave their time for free) and replaced it with a system which encouraged cronyism on an unprecedented scale, then called it progress. Next time we need to a lot less gullible, and a lot more aware of the self-rewarding games our elites get up to! I'm told about thirty of these lords-a-voting enjoy fat EU pensions which are contractually tied to doing nothing which the EU even mildly disapproves of - yet, have any of them declared this fact? 4
threegee Posted April 19, 2017 Author Report Posted April 19, 2017 Now we get to know for sure if May is a genuine reformer or just another establishment-owned BS'er. If there is no undertaking to create a properly elected House of Lords in the Tory Party manifesto we'll all know the truth. The current "desire" to reduce the numbers simply won't wash! 3
threegee Posted April 28, 2017 Author Report Posted April 28, 2017 Quote The Conservatives are likely to fight their general election campaign on “the thinnest, most feeble manifesto full of vacuities”, the head of a Thatcherite think tank has warned. Mark Littlewood, the director of the Institute of Economic Affairs which was Margaret Thatcher’s favourite think tank, said he was “worried” about the party’s manifesto. Not looking too promising for an early result then!
threegee Posted May 20, 2017 Author Report Posted May 20, 2017 But... maybe... Quote Theresa May today reveals plans to strip people of their knighthoods if they fall below the “standards of integrity” expected by the public. In an exclusive interview with The Sunday Telegraph, the Prime Minister raises fears that Britons have lost confidence in the honours system after a series of scandals. If re-elected, she will task the Cabinet Office with a review to ensure that local heroes who go unnoticed are given the recognition they deserve. ... “But I think for some time now there has just been that concern for people to make sure it is an honours system that is genuinely rewarding in the right way. “And that’s what we want to do, to make sure that going forward that people can have that full confidence in it.” The review will be seen as a snub to David Cameron, the former prime minister accused of “cronyism” for handing gongs to political aides and donors. At the time senior Government sources briefed that the Prime Minister would adopt a different approach to that seen in Mr Cameron’s resignation honours list. ... No timescale has been placed on the shake-up. Hmmm! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/05/20/theresa-may-knighthoods-shake-up-lose-gong-dishonour/ 2
