The original school building was destroyed by fire in 1970. The old school building was replaced with garages and houses and the new school is still within the old school grounds.

I am delighted to read your comments and find out more about my photo. I wonder if that's where nick have heard 'Vulcan School' before. My family most certainly would not have been attending the private school,  so I think the mystery is solved. It is this school for sure.
