Andy Millne 369 Posted May 5, 2007 Report Share Opposite the low numbers of vicarage terrace on front street east, between the Black Bull and the Northumberland Arms. Used to be Coopers Prize Bingo I'm told (before my time). Link to comment

threegee 877 Posted June 6, 2007 Report Share Probable reason for this is that the access road to the right of it is new. There are houses where the old phone exchange used to be - affectionately called Jellystone Court. Link to comment
stevenmcvey963 15 Posted May 14, 2016 Report Share the shop you see was Coopers prize bingo and the door to the right led to an upstairs pool room ran by their son,the road to the right must be pretty new I was around in the 1970s and was often to be found hanging round there with my girlfriend Susan and mates,Alan Fox,Bob Tweedy,Stephen and Michael Charlton Paul (tuc) Fennell and loads more, they were good times then I left in 1983 but always remember the Bedlington that made me.
