Rigger 60 Posted February 9, 2021 Report The photo dates from 1906 but I have another reference which states 1920. On the left is another pit head, could this be the John shaft? i.e. Photo taken looking northwards?
Alan Edgar (Eggy1948) 1,199 Posted February 9, 2021 Report @Rigger - this photo (can't remember where I got it from) confirms your photo was taken by the photographer was looking north. No idea when this one was taken but there is only the one pit head.
