When, and if I go out, I like a game of pool, listen to the juke box and generally have a good time! Sitting in a stale environment with cheap beer, no music and no pool is not my idea of fun! Yes I'll use Wetherspoons, but, will soon move on to other establishments with some sort of entertainment. If all I wanted was cheap beer I'd just go to Netto's get 8 x 500ml cans for a fiver and sit in the house.

Wow! What a read this thread is (and the others)! I never knew radio stations could arouse such vitriol! But then most of it comes from Monsta, for whom a cheese sandwich can cause apoplexy! On that note, to Monsta, your question 'give me three good reasons why...' etc, can you give me three good reasons why not?

Hi the school was were the binks yard is now ,the pools you refer to were directly behind what is now the industrial estate and this was the quarry for brick yard at barrington and also the one at bedlington. the scrap yard Taits was on the left of the road 500 yards over the welwyn bridge going to stakeford this was the site of the old tip.
