Well the plane got delayed in Brussels for over four hours and I was tempted by their yummy looking raw oyster bar...........what was I thinking, I flew into the 14th and was fine at the other end....was a strange way to start out in a new country. I have not seen godzilla yet, but am always wayching out for him.

I flew to Japan for the first time and got really sick on the plane. That felt unlucky!

Funny this turned into a dicussion about prison. Here in japan lots of people smoke, i used to smoke but stopped over 3 years ago. In Japan prison is unreasonably strict, you can be put away for a couple of years just for drink driving.....and the prisons are torturous boot camps! I think smoking is gross but it is everyones right to do or not to do, the only way to stop it is to stop people starting it! You guys guys are lucky in the uk, the move to stop people has started, asia is way behind on that.....and insane numbers of people smoke here. In Japan prisons people are not permitted to talk to each other even when they are in the same room, and most personal belongings are removed, its screwed that people get games and tv in british prisons. I think somewhere between ultimate leniancy and boot camp would be good but each country is different.

I was only following where the topic went Monsta. I hope you arent putting me in any crews, I was just shareing my experiences. In Japan all shops greet each customer with a full shop "irashimasen". I thoght it was strange at first but now have come to expect it. Even huge shops do it. When I come to England it freaks me out that no one is saying it. I remember going to Laus in the town too. Very yummy.

I see your point, its a little more simple when its coming at you in your native tongue though. And cockneys love to have a go, they do it alot in jest....many Japanese people do it because they feel uncomfortable. Wow sorry I am venting.

I am spoilt because I get authentic Chinese food, lots of Japanese cuisine has its base in Chinese food. I went to China a couple of years ago and the Chinese really know how to eat. I dont like the word !*!@# either, racism is something you really dont understand till you are facing it. It sucks! I have had people call me a gaijin (alien, outsider) to my face and have listened to full on conversations about me on trains, in restaurants.......and though its easy to put it down to racism what it is in fact is fear of the unknown and lack of education. Call your food anything you like, but just imagine how a chinese person might feel. How would you feel?

You dont need to swear to be understood. Kids might read this site. I think people should talk about whatever subject they want but an adult with common sense knows how to keep it clean.
