  1. No, he just rubbed his belly ruefully while mumbling about japanese flags.

Mr Huyt (or Howt as the Beeb now call him) is Sloth Fratelli from the Goonies. Pure and simple. Lets also hope that he brings nothing to the alloy stealers and will rue the day he shunned then Toon.

Sun Inn now has games. Hope none of the boys in blue are earwiggin...............

  2. I have a lovely friend in Tenerife who's surname is wood. She has named her baby Holly. Red face for me when I said 'yeah right, what have you really called her?'

Pencil, he has a bloody stylist..fangs for asking.

    Wood. Good solid surname that........

If i have kids they are getting called Humford and Plessy, just for a bit of local humour.

    Or possibly Cher.........

  3. Kalams gaff is quality. A fine curry emporium for the discerning curry chomper as it offers a fine selection of alternative currys compared to the standard Madras/Balti/Vindaloo fare served up by other shoddier establishments.

His Tikka Cheese starter is truly the food of the gods.

Check it out and say i sent you, perhaps i will gain some form of freeby.......

Verdi's is not nice, he keep the garlic industry going single handed. Possible why there are no vampires in Bedlington............

  4. 20 quid for nothing? Bring on the next "drought"!

Best bit by far was radgies fighting over bottles of abbey well in presto car park even though there was clearly enough bottled water to keep a large african nation going

Mine was spent on Red C in the North, Denzil and Ms Hair can verify.

  5. Still the funniest thing i have seen in a long while. The England vs German "Legends" (I use the term loosly) match the other night.

Good ol' Boris wiping out some german from the 80's. Think he must have been taking advice from Cohen and Offiah about how to "tackle" before the game rather than sharpe et al.

Reminds me of Mr Hair or Colonel Knoweldge at 5 a side...........

  6. Aye still got Fed, but for how long who knows since S&N bought them. As for Vaux, they disappeared 10 years ago I'm afraid Pete, but you can still buy Double Maxim in ASDA.

I remember a random drunken sunday where i purchased a double maxim in the wharton arms. Dunno if they still have it though.......

  7. Well I'm in, can't hurt to join up can it?

i agree with denzel. if i had stuff to do as a kid, maybe i wouldnt have ended up the way i am! discussing the merits of early ice-t records with colonel knowledge in the boozer on a sunday afternoon.

    oh the life i lead!

  8. THERE WOZ GANNA BE A CUSH RAVE ON SUNDAY AT MOVIEZ BUT IT WUZ CAALD OFF COZ O THE BIZZYZ AND IT WOZ TOTAL KICKIN OFF

i was unfortunate (and possibly drunk enough) to be in Bedlingtons answer to the New Monkey after the delights of Whitley on monday night. flat beer and "Children of the Night" being played by a dj eyeing up jailbait who seemed to be dancing up and down on the spot and punching the air in a manner that Ricky Hatton would be proud of!!!!

The hooky sky dish is the only thing that makes this place worth going to and even then i wish i could bring my own ale.

  9. It's quality. Fancy a ruck after the game this weekend? Bring your crew to the Top End, if you dare.

no bother denz, get your firm together and we have a meet. should be a laugh. no blades or bike chains! good clean brawling. match is on in that happyhardcorehellhole that is movies bar. there is a rave on in there on sun. what is bedlington coming to? the dress code is the best bit, jeans and t-shirt. Damn, i was gonna wear a shirt as well..........
