im sure everyone has heard about reclaiming thier bank charges...but has anyone else tried? At first i wasnt sure if it would work, but i thought why not.I coulnt believe my eyes when i got a letter from the bank offering to credit my account for £375 for unfair charges for the past 6 years! My claim was for £400 so i was very happy about that.I used an online company to do all the work for me and they take 20% of the final offer. All i had to do was give them my details and wait.C,mon everyone lets get revenge on the banks!
Better than nowt aint it

In Bedlington we have the space for a super size market, shame that most is took up by car boot.
However combine the two and our market day could be huge, other towns have car boot fairs which are massive namely run by Nobles, and other towns have large markets.
Bedlington has the population for a bigger market surely if we had more traders it would bring more business to the local area and make our market worth visiting

Anyone any futher forward with this little campaign?!?!?!

i believe the owner is responsible too, our puppy is great she is training well and will be a super well behaved dog when older, but if it happens that she does bite someone then yes we would take fully responsibility

I was a member of the 'old' Forum before it vanished, and waited a couple of years (or maybe more) for it to return. I had hoped that this reincarnation would be without those who had little to say, or if they did say anything, it would offensive, banal, etc. How disappointed I was to discover that they had made an appearance!
On the old Forum I suspected the culprits were juveniles using a school network at lunchtime (or even during lessons, giggling in the back row as they posted). It seemed that any genuine enquiry or other posting was hijacked. Then the site went down and I missed news from home and of course Joe's postings from across the Atlantic.
I gave this new Forum a chance but, like a number of others posting here, was getting fed-up with the offensive stuff. Brilliant that some steps have now been taken to 'clean-up' postings. I'll now stay and enjoy the genuine humour and honest banter, the news, the history, etc.
Keep-up the responsible Moderating.
I too was a member of the last forum, some of those were good old days, some not so good

Hang on... i see a pattern comming out here....
i moan about the ironing never getting done, you ask for a new ironing board and iron, i moan the floor needs hoovering, we get a new hoover, the kids need something to look after to teach them responsiblity, we get a hamster, rabbit, 6 fish, a cat and a puppy. now a new kitchen center is opening in bedlington and its just what we need?? i seem to remember commenting on the quality of miss darns cooking not long back, think i've said too much????
hang on......
i do the hoovering, ironing, look after the rabbit, fish, hamster, cat and puppy AND i do the cooking........
Hmmmmnnnnn..................
(Que Miss Darn!!!)
