Spent my childhood growing up in Bedlington (Millfield & Beatty Road) and virtually 'lived' in Humford Woods, I must've covered every inch a thousand times over. I still live in the north east but not in Bedlington unfortunately, although I will return one day.

Ps. I'm trying, so far unsuccessfully, to trace a childhood friend from back in the day. His name is David Ian Taylor and he'll be around my age. His grandparents, Ridley & Betty Kinghorn, also lived in Millfield. Any help is appreciated.
