Nice to be welcomed so warmly, it's as if I'd never physically left the area all those years ago. I'm glad I found this site, but having just got broadband it's opened my eyes as to whats about. Converse with you guys as time goes by, but have put a couple of posts out already.

Hi sorry to butt in, those piccies of form 5 Westridge, I know most of them, it must have been taken between Sept '66 and May'67. I can name quite a few faces:- Helen Hurst, Paul Hewish, Alan Temple, Brian Corner, etc. Are most of those still with us as it was 45 years ago. As a new member I'm having a whale of a time remembering the past, for the good and bad times, wow do I feel old?

Apparently we used to live at Hartford Camp, 23 Moorside don't know which camp No. it was, nor can I remember it as I was only 2 or 3 when we got a house in Bedlington. This would have been 1953. My mam always had fond memories of "the huts" as she used to call them, probably cos it was much better than living in!
