  1. you have the wrong bloke but I might know you as I knew Keith Cooney very well in fact he moved to number 32 doctor terrace & my Mother lived next in number 33.I moved to guidepost in 1957 & became manager of the football team in the early sixties.

Hi Wilma I new Keith Coony very well in fact he moved to 32 doctor terrace next door to my mother who was Meggie Armitage & I am.. her youngest son,Bill.I lived in bedlington until 1957 & then moved to Guidepost along the Morpeth rd.I was manager for the club football team & i knew all the people you mentioned.my son Bill served his time as an apprentice electritiion at Choppington High Pit so maybe you new him.
  3. HPL sorry av ne idea what u mean so ye dvnt need to caal roond , sorry to be nosey but is HPL choppington or cramlington as i know a lot or used to know alot of folk from HP choppington my son worked at choppington h p in the early 6xties
  4. Having a very interesting time trying to work this site and looking at all the photos they bring back a lot of memories but some one has spoiled some of them by writing FOXY all over them
  5. thanks for the Photo eggy1948 i spent many a time in there having a gill with the owner Joe metcalf and some of my old marras from the rows.the name Giffo was given to me by Mr brewises stepson Jack Hall who thought i looked like a boxer who was going around the boxing shows at the time, i was ten at the time and working for Mr Brewis on his farm , which was opposite side of the road to Westridge schull , not there at the time though

  7. Born 1924 in Catholic Raa, so im really an aad Bedlingtontonion, raised in doctor terrace next door to missus Dot, am so aad a used to naa the man who bred the Bedlington terrier he had the Gardeners Arms can anyone remember his name. bet foxy has a photo of him
