Hi all you nice Bedlingtonian People,

I was born and bred in Bedlington I remeber Humford Mill Swimming Baths, the Marley family, attended Westridge County Secondary School, then Ashington Area Workshops Electrican.

Dropped out went travelling then moved to London Octoberr 30th 1973, Maintaince Electrican at Fords Dagenham, went overland to India and back 1975. On return started Hatha Yoga and Buddhist Philosophy all school of thought,became a Vegan got interseted in Sustainablity and Re-Newable Energy.Worked as a Park Keeper until 1982, left London went to Sri Lanka Yoga&Meditation course and travelling in India and Nepal.

Returned to Bedlington in 1983 created Pureland Bulk buy Coopeartive, sat on the General Council of Northern Region Cooperative Develoment Association (NRCDA)  Newcastle Upon Tyne. 60 Cooperatives and 3 Credit Union created.

Lived in Holistic Centre Jesmond Newcastle used to feed Thervaden monks and attend meditation classes in Jesmond,Newcastle Uni and at Harnham Vihara in Northumberland.

Left North -East 1989 got a job in Cherstey Surrey with people who have learning diffuclties.

Moved to Glastonbury 1990 trained and qualified as Vegan Chef Ploughshares, Assembly Rooms Cafe Chef and promoting Workers Co-ops.

Founder member Mendip Communinty Credit Union, sat on the Economic Development Forum Mendip District Council.

Worked Somerset County Council Community Care Worker,Wrote a book,then in 2010 qualified Fellow Devon School For Social Entrepreneurs.

Grassroots Glastonbury.

Perform Spontaneous Cabaret to raise funds for causes.

Present moment acting Secretary and Treasurer for The Sleeping Bus Project for SW in creating a Sleeping Bus that rough sleepers,homeless and those marginalised have a safe, warm comfortable place to sleep overnight.
