    My family were living on Sea View (aka Sea View Row) in the 1851 census, so just to say hi and thanks for the information in this thread. They seem to have been living right near the ironworks (though moving around different streets) for a couple of generations; one was a hammerman around the 1850s and another a waterman/keelman around the 1820s. My gran's gran, who was born there in 1850, later moved to Newcastle and was married to a teacher.
