Hoping someone maybe able to help me with research I have ww1 and ww2 defence medals to Frederick Hull who was also awarded a military medal. I suspect he served Home guard service at the pit where he worked. There is also a mention of a miner being killed due to a roof collapse. Also called Frederick Hull though struggling to make the link.
