    Just done a job for a local councillor(labour)and I pointed him the direction of this forum,seeing him again on Monday,while I'm there I'll try and get him on the forum to give his views,and maybe an insight to what is going on.No promises though!

    Do any of you know any forum sites I can visit,reason being I've got family over there and lost touch.Want to see if I can find any of them.They left the UK in the sixties with the £10 fare scheme.
  6. Was in a few weeks ago,there was me wor lass and a mate and a few dodgy characters that was it!No little people in sight,we then went down the street and the only two pubs with a decent clientelle were The Blue Bell and The Grapes,Bedlington I'm afraid is dead.

    I re-call a newspaper article about the power station and the map they had showed the power station sited over the road from the old one,don't know anything about the eco village though. I stood on the site of Bates colliery when they blew the chimneys of the old power station,got a video somewhere.

    Two visits in two days! Must be a record! Youngest daughter must have a boyfriend,twice she's left me the comp don't know whether to be happy or bloody worried You lot don't have to tell me about the rubbish on tv,thats all I've got to do,that or read books.Pete you sure we not related, got the same taste in tv! I like All Creatures Great and Small and The Sweeney fabulous!

If you have why do you want a nuclear plant on your doorstep,radio-active pollution etc and don't try and tell me that they are safe.And if you think that if it blows up it will only take down Cambois......well nuff said. By the way flight paths for airport are about 6 miles away,jus cos you look up an see a plane don't mean it over here
