Cambois Pit - 50 years since it closed

Saturday, April 21st will be 50 years since the closure of Cambois Pit. As a means to celebrate, some of the very pitmen who worked there are organizing a night at Cambois Club and they hope that any miners who worked at the pit can join them, as are any descendants. My dad tells me that at the 25th anniversary, back in 1983 - people came as far as from the West Midlands to join in and see old faces. Obviously since that time, many pitmen have passed on. But it will be great to remember them. Please feel free to share this message as far and wide as possible.
