Hamburger Pimp Posted July 27, 2007 Report Posted July 27, 2007 Never mind Owen's injury struggles, Harper can do a job up front.
Pete Posted July 28, 2007 Author Report Posted July 28, 2007 Never mind Owen's injury struggles, Harper can do a job up front. All this time Colonel and the Toon never knew that they had a world class striker sitting in the bench.
Merlin Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 Never mind Owen's injury struggles, Harper can do a job up front.Isn't that supposed to read JOBBY up front
Merlin Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 No.Oh yes it was "JOBBY" cos I bet he was filling his knickers up there!!!
Denzel Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 I don't think so.Neither do I. Bust a cap in his ass.
Hamburger Pimp Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 It looks as if Harper may have to do a job* between the posts as Shay Given is injured. Despite this, I am predicting a comfortable 2-0 win for Newcastle.Howay the Toon.*By "job" I mean "job" not "jobby", for the avoidance of hilarious misunderstandings.

Pete Posted August 14, 2007 Author Report Posted August 14, 2007 "we are top of the league" I know and its fantastic, question is, how long can we stay there?
Pete Posted August 17, 2007 Author Report Posted August 17, 2007 I know and its fantastic, question is, how long can we stay there? Will Owen play tommorow against Villa now that he has declared himself fit to play for England?
PussyKat Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 I know and its fantastic, question is, how long can we stay there? to be honest as long as we finish above the mackums i'll be happy!
Pete Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 to be honest as long as we finish above the mackums i'll be happy! Too True.
Hamburger Pimp Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Not sure there would be too much celebrating were Newcastle to finish the season second bottom but above Sunderland.Enjoyable as it is to beat the knackers from down the road, Newcastle should be setting their sights higher than being top of the north-east dungheap.Challenging for a UEFA spot and a decent cup run or two should be the aim for this season.

All of the reports say that Mr Ashley is after a fast buck.
