August 25, 200718 yr I'm not sure how many of you know him, but the news of the death of the Wharton Arms landlord has stunned the pub.Brian Young, died in hospital on sunday. His funeral will take place on Tuesday.I had the pleasure of knowing Brian personally, and he is already missed.

His funeral will take place on Tuesday.I had the pleasure of knowing Brian personally, and he is already missed.Known him since I used to drink in the Monkey when John was Landlord,had some great lock-ins then mate.No doubt the Wharton will be heaving to give him a great send off.
