hi,im new to this site, i was brought up in bedlington until i went into the army at 19yrs in 1967. like ISW,i lived in beatty road but as time has gone gone bye, lost touch with all those i knew. i had many friends in the early years,sad to have not seen them for so long. Good news is though,i have been able to view on this site someone from USA looking up family tree and i am in their,so that is really looking exciting. Wonder if anyone can help me trace a dear friend from long ago, she was called Joan Hunter then,lived in Terrier Close near the pub in the 1960s. I lost touch so long ago it would be wonderful to catch up with her. Bye for now folks
