I would like to put forward a suggestion, in the hope that the Bedlington bugle will pass this on to a man with 2 kids on bikes at Netherton...

If you feel that your children are so unsafe riding on a footpath that you feel compelled to gesture cars to drive on the wrong side of the road to keep out of their way (whilst shouting obscenities to traffic in front of said kids), you may want to take them cycling in one of Bedlington's many glorious parklands or meadows, instead of on a 2ft wide footpath next to a winding 60mph road, known for fatalities.

Please consider this in future, to stop acting like a total knacker.

I completely agree, that piece of road is bad enough while driving through, let alone having certian members of the public gesturing that we veer to the other side of the road...
