Thanks for your reply to my post on the Hunters. Kind of you to do so. ironic that you are down their in Wiltshire i'm up here again. Was down in your territory way back in my Army day's after leaving Bedlington. Regarding Joan the eldest sister, yes she did join the Police force but for how long i have no idea. We had lost contact by then. I do remember her sister too,she went out with one of my friends too. {Gordon Turner} Don't know if you knew him,he worked at the Doctor Pit for sometime.Last time i saw Joan was in 1970,she was in a car that went past me,i had just left the Army a few weeks prior. It was sad to hear about her Father,i only knew him for a short time while Joan & i were together. Time does go so quickly.Hope you are well & take care. Jlogan

Yes i remember John & Robert very well,i think they did move from Beatty Road in the sixties. Can't blame them for that, however it is 100 times worse now than then. I took my Daughter down to Bedlington 3years back. It was sad to see how it had been neglected for years.A number of public houses have closed including the Terior pub. Gordon, john Munley & me used to have a drink in their,i was under age mind. I am so sorry to hear Margaret is not so well, please do give her my love & tell her i wish her well for the future. I think we don't have a big gap in ages. I am 61 now. She was a really lovely lass when i knew her,a very gentle soul. Does Gordon & Margaret have any family Norman? Talk soon. Jim
