Did anyone else see the Budge cordoned off on Monday night / Tuesday? (The seating area opposite the chemists & zebra crossing).

I heard that the roof collapsed onto someone, leaving them concussed – does anyone know what happened?

I saw it taped off and today noticed the roof was missing.

Wonder if the council will replace the roof after what happened, or if they'll just leave it.

It was damaged in the high/strong winds on Sunday night.

It was a girl from my sister's school who was concussed from the collapse. She was with someone else, who also suffered fractured vertebrae.

I heard that some local youth was retreiving his football and it collapsed as he climbed onto the roof of the shelter,Sue the cooncil it should have been maintained!

I hope the two people hurt will soon be okay!

The girl (Ami) is OK and home now, and her boyfriend Mathew is in hospital still with a fractured vertebrate.

I think they are planning to sue, I dont really blame them!

it was someone my friend knows - they tried to get their football down from the top of the budge i think and it collapsed.
