December 6, 200916 yr Author im heavy involded in the heritage sence with the tanfield railway and bowes railway in gateshead and durham every sunday and most free days. im oftern kept upto date on devlopments on the main line railways ,like if bedlington will every get its station back etc, (got Connetions) and any intersting workings like steam engines passing though bedington etc. i did have a pics of steam engines passing though but my old computer took them with it when it decided to brake lol
December 6, 200916 yr I don't know many details but I'm told there's a replica of a steam engine that was originally built in Bedlington in a museum in Rome somewhere. Do you know anything about that? It's something I'd like to visit sometime in the near future.
December 7, 200916 yr Author there is one of the Orgianl Engines some where in the EU cannot remember which country it is now....in some Msueum differnt one from rome.Beldington Engine Works had alot of 1st.1st engine out of Kings Crossand loads of 1st across the world for 1st train ran was Bedlington works engine.im going to dig up the details cannot remember off the top of my head.funny Beldington Engine works....the Malluble Rail they made is still getting procdued today for Railways across the WHOLE world.

December 8, 200916 yr Hi Owen!Denmark or somewhere in that general direction.The Italian one is certainly a copy produced from original plans. Will push hard to try to get some pictures of it at some point soon; though when I last enquired it wasn't open to the public.
December 9, 200916 yr Author DENMARK!!! bang on.i'd love to get it back over to the UK, at least the North East.Important part of North East Heritage, although important part of denmarks, if i remember it was the 1st train to run in denmark.one of the many Bedlington engines works 1st.
