Great pics Owen. We'll be adding a history section soon that will probably interest you. No shortage of Industrial/Railway heritage for Bedlington that's for sure.

im heavy involded in the heritage sence with the tanfield railway and bowes railway

in gateshead and durham every sunday and most free days.

im oftern kept upto date on devlopments on the main line railways ,like if bedlington will every get its station back etc, (got Connetions) and any intersting workings like steam engines passing though bedington etc.

i did have a pics of steam engines passing though but my old computer took them with it when it decided to brake lol

I don't know many details but I'm told there's a replica of a steam engine that was originally built in Bedlington in a museum in Rome somewhere. Do you know anything about that? It's something I'd like to visit sometime in the near future.

Welcome to the forum Owen :)

Hi Owen!

Denmark or somewhere in that general direction.

The Italian one is certainly a copy produced from original plans. Will push hard to try to get some pictures of it at some point soon; though when I last enquired it wasn't open to the public.

DENMARK!!! bang on.

i'd love to get it back over to the UK, at least the North East.

Important part of North East Heritage, although important part of denmarks, if i remember it was the 1st train to run in denmark.

one of the many Bedlington engines works 1st.
