September 12, 201114 yr Lagers up from 64p to £2.90. They did not sell lager last time I was in there, it was all beer, if my memory serves me right it was one and thrupence a pint. Come to think of it there was larger it was Carling black label it was more of a ladies tipple I think, not sure if you can still get that.

September 13, 201114 yr Quite a few, and on Friday night I was in Newcastle paying £3.20.if somebody asked me for £3:20 for a pint, I'll be asking them if that pump can suck it it back out of the glass, cos I would not be paying that for a beer thank you very much. September 13, 201114 yr Probably changed a bit since 1965 keithI've never been in for ages Pete, but since they re-routed the road it is in a cul-de-sac now and it dos'nt get any passing trade as there is no through traffic in East Sleekburn as such, but I should think that it has changed a bit since 1965. I know the landlord bought some land off my brother to build a house on a couple of years ago and he has done nothing with it yet so he must still be content in the Havelock.
September 13, 201114 yr Keith, its foxy, that would have included a lap dance!!!!!! It would still be too expensive. I would expect a taxi home to be incuded in that price. (with the lap dancer) Edited September 13, 201114 yr by keith
