Malcolm Robinson
It would seem the North East have been snubbed at this year's Britain's got Talent?Yet another example of the northern fringe of England stopping at Manchester! http://talent.tellymix.co.uk/2010/news/21837-britains-got-talent-2011-live-audition-dates-confirmed-with-a-new-city.html
tomtom
There's plenty of latent talent up here in Geordieland -we just don't brag about it! and having seen some of the rubbish acts on Britains Got Talent I think it's probably better we dont get involved. threegee
The sad truth is that most local people with get-up-and-go, simply get up and go. There are quite a few reasons for this; some intrinsic, but others have much to do with local attitudes to success. We don't even celebrate our historic greats like other areas do! Is the reason why we still ignore this town's great engineers simply down to the fact that they were of "the wrong" political persuasion?
