Hi all—I'm new member. About 30mins ago while browsing I came across a forum page discussing Double Row West Sleekburn. Some marvellous photos had been added and the poster mentioned an old photograph of 3 men in army uniform, possibly from WW1. The name Pringle was written on the back.

Most of my family originated from the Bedlington area and Pringle is a family name.

Unfortunately I've been unable to find the forum page again! Maybe it was outdated.

I'm still finding my way around your site and would be grateful for any help in finding it again.

I now live in Cumbria.

I hope I've landed on the correct page!

For most of the time I was A Head Herdsman on farm between Cumwhinton and Cotehill. It was a smashing place to live, my oldest son has just moved back over there and is living with his girlfriend in Carlisle.
