Mr Rich And The Terriers

Featured Replies

For those of you that missed the BBC documentary of the Bedlington Terriers travelling to America, here it is. They got a great reception there and Mr Rich seems like a great bloke, very down to earth..

I watched this documentary and I'm afraid to say a lot of my workmates had missed it. I thought it was brilliant even if we did'nt play well it really was entertaining and eye opening I suppose for the players who met Mr Rich. good for him to be so generous to the lads.

I really don't think that the players were expecting that sort of reception by the local people over there.

The americans are mad for it and it seemed to make more headlines in the US than it did in the local press.

Good programme and a good insight into the club.

Is Mr Rich (Lord Bedlington) still involved with the club? Do'nt hear his name much these days.

No mention on the web site :- http://www.bedlingtonterriersfc.com/club-information/players-staff/

The last newspaper story that Google finds, with Mr Rich, is :- http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/local-news/bedlington-terriers-fc-facing-winding-up-1352784
