That's where it is you pedantic bottom flasher!

I am just wondering why after years of being a cultural wasteland we seem to now abound with a plethora of localised educational and artistic entertainment organisations?

agreed on all points, I think I may try and set one up in the subway to Grange Park. Handy for the traffic reports too.

Hi,

Keith is not wrong, he could broadcast from the subway, and Yes, it's easy to tell where Radio Northumberland is located !!

We are a virtual station using home studios, other stations studios, and other local facilities, including the top of the radio tower in West Sleekburn!

Our Main broadcast site is Bedlington, but we can be anywhere, and so far have had shows from The Lodge in Bedlington and from Blyth and Newbiggin too.

We have been on line non-stop since January 2012 and are also applying for an RSL FM licence.

If you have an event, please let us know.

You can also record the details with your phone/computer for "YOU Tell Northumberland", our community adverts.

Listen at www.radionorthumberland.com if you want to hear some existing community adverts.

Radio Northumberland is a mix of people with experience in Radio.

They also have a varied background in Entertainment, Public Relations, Community Leadership, Broadcast Engineering, Production and many other professional skills.

If you have Radio experience, then please get in touch to help us.

Regards,

Stewart Allen

As Michael Miles used to say "Take your Pick"!

As Michael Miles used to say "Take your Pick"!

Ummm.. wasn't it "Take the money or open the box?" :D

Anyway, those were the days present-day broadcasters can only dream about: A thirteen million plus peak time audience at approx 2p a minute! i.e. there was a less than one in ten chance of someone not saying yes or no or nodding within sixty seconds, for a chance at the staggering prize money of five old shillings (25p)! :)

OK we have a Northern Soul gig on 28th April if you guys want to be here, We'd also appreciate any help in getting this information out to the local population. We have regular live music sessions on a Tuesday night as well. We are happy to host a gig or live music that you guys would like to broadcast. Come and chat and lets make like we support one another.

Hi Black Bull

Happy to read out the details for this.

We also have a feature on Radio Northumberland for community events called "YOU Tell Northumberland".

Record the details into your phone or computer and send the file to requests@radionorthumberland.com.

It can be a straight read out of the details or you can add music etc and make it as fancy as you want!

Go on give it a try!

Cheers,

Stewart
