Dale Foster Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Coming soon...Football Fun!! is an opportunity for boys and girls age 4-11 to come along and enjoy playing football in a safe, fun filled, no pressure environment. We are not linked to any club so everyone is welcome even if you play for a club or if you've never kicked a ball before. The coaches are F.A. qualified and all coaches and helpers are CRB checked. We are just waiting for the green light from the council to secure a pitch and we should be up and running in 3-4 weeks. We will run on Saturday mornings, prices haven't been finalised yet but there will be a one off nominal membership fee of a pound or two and then about the same cost per week, but if you don't come you don't pay so there is no pressure. We are not for profit so all money raised will go back to the kids for coats etc.keep an eye on our website which is still under construction http://www.footballfun.org.uk/ or find us on facebook http://www.facebook....31393666882976/if anyone is interested in helping with coaching or even the teas and coffees please let us know and any sponsorship is more than welcome. This post has been promoted to an article

Malcolm Robinson Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 Where abouts will this take place............?
Dale Foster Posted September 18, 2012 Author Report Posted September 18, 2012 It will be in Bedlington, don't want to say exactly where yet until we get the green light from the council, just in case some one pinches our spot. Thanks for promoting us Brett.
Keith Scantlebury Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 Dale, can I play pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase
Malcolm Robinson Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 Keith will make a half decent goal post!
Brett Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 Since the mobile 5-a-side setup was in Tesco car park a short while back I have been thinking that not only beneficial training but maye a 5-a-side league would be good and stop the young'uns belting the ball around in the market place. The only places that do 5-a-side leagues properly round here aren't exactly accessible and generally privately booking a pitch is expensive. Not sure if this is something that you have looked into Dale but any kind of sports activities would be good in and around Bedders.
Dale Foster Posted September 18, 2012 Author Report Posted September 18, 2012 At first its just going to be on a saturday with no pressure training and a match at the end. If it takes off we'll see from there.

Dale Foster Posted September 30, 2012 Author Report Posted September 30, 2012 Age 4 - 11, it wont be worth our Jack getting into it though, Dale will it ?. He will be 12 in December.Sorry Keith I've only just seen your post. He will be able to come for a couple of months and if he enjoys it we could help to find him a team if he's not already playing for some one.
