Alan Edgar (Eggy1948) Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 See how considerate Mr Ashley is, catering for those supporters who are currently less fortunate, than the majority, enabling them to share in the pleasure the team brings to THE CITY. Sunderland however do have to get close to the bottom to encourage their average fans to pre book a seasons worth of entertainment.PREMIER LEAGUE - MOST EXPENSIVE SEASON TICKETArsenal £2,013 -Tottenham £1,895 -Chelsea £1,250 -Manchester United £950 -Queens Park Rangers £949 -West Ham £940Liverpool £869Manchester City £860 Southampton £853Leicester City £730Crystal Palace £720Everton £719Newcastle United £710Burnley £685Aston Villa £615Stoke City £609Hull City £574Sunderland £525Swansea City £499West Brom £449
Symptoms Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 Blimey! Are the mackems really charging that amount for folks to get into that tin shed of theirs? I wonder if those few who do turn up know they are likely to be contaminated by the thousands of tons of low-level nuclear waste that was dumped down the old Monkwearmouth pit before the Stadium of Plight was cobbled together and plonked on top?
Tonyp Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 It's far overpriced as you can see at my photo I was at Real Madrid last year for a la liga game against Levante it cost me 25 euros about £19 & you were seeing real world class players
John Fox (foxy) Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Well anyone at St James park Newcastle today would certainly get their moneys worth, the Red Arrows were summoned from their base at R A F Scampton to perform a Victory Roll over the city centre to celebrate Obertans winner against Leicester City
Symptoms Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Followed by Wing Commander Symptoms in his Spitfire. Brave Symptoms had just returned from a straffing mission over the City of Southampton in support of our brave allies 'The Saints'. The mission was a total success as the axismackem forces of evil were routed. Earlier reports suggested that the axismackem ate nowt for their lunch (get it?).
John Fox (foxy) Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Ate Nowt?........ not sure about the Lingo here, I'm going to contact Canny Lass just to make sure your not talking S***T*......did you mean 8-0?....... anyway here's a photo of the skies over St James Park this afternoon............
Tonyp Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 The red arrows was the only entertainment worth watching cos you'll not get entertained by the football ...
Symptoms Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 "Ate nowt" was a very old joke about a mackem result from donkeys years ago ... it was trawled-up from the dark recesses of my addled brain and I just couldn't help sharing it with everybody here. No need to dragoon our 'in house' lingo expert Canny. Wise old Sym often likes a play on words, in this case indicative past tense or even subjunctive imperfect mixed with a local dialect adverb or pronoun word. Yep, I could have written 8 - 0 but where's the fun in that ... apart from us Toon supporters basking in the continuing discomfort of the inbreds cowering in that tin shed on the banks of that rancid Wear gutter. Plenty more from where that came from
John Fox (foxy) Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 Arrows are at the Toon again today!!!
Tonyp Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 Foxy! Sitting in greenwich park tonight seen 2 spitfires 1 Lancaster bomber 2 hurricanes flying towards selhurt park v for victory lol
John Fox (foxy) Posted November 4, 2014 Report Posted November 4, 2014 I like to see all the North East teams winning Tony, after watching last nights performance I think the Ref would be better suited stacking shelves in Tescos

Symptoms Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 "Peanuts. Tanner a bag. Peanuts." That's what the nut gadgies would yell. The tanners chucked onto the pitch and a 'twist' bag of nuts would be accurately throw to you. We used the nuts as ammo to chuck down at blokes with bald heads. Oh what fun.
Tonyp Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 I think that was the only drank oxo it was rank but it kept you warm on them cold Saturday afternoons..
