Hello all. Great site. I grew up in Netherton then Bedlington (top end) but sadly was forced to move to the Midlands for work several years ago. I still visit family up there regularly and look forward to reading more news of what's happening in my old home town.

I am in a simular position to you I also live in the Midlands, East Midlands, been here since 1970. Still look forward to going home (Bedlington) when I get the chance.

Thanks for the welcome folks. It's over 20 years since I moved away from Bedlington though only lived in our present location a couple of years. Nice place, close to town and countryside though a long way from the sea. Locals are friendly but I still miss my family up north. Looking forward to one of my regular visits to Bedlington next week.
